Our Projects

Pool and Terrace

In April 2022, Patrick Monast, an artist renowned for his sculptures and ephemeral works, approached us with a clear vision: to create an in-ground pool carved into the rock, without artifice, showcasing the stone in its purest form.

A project that seemed simple at first glance, yet ambitious in its execution. Through close collaboration and strong determination, we rose to the challenge and brought the vision to life.

On November 6, 2024, Patrick received the prestigious Project of the Year award in the Art and Photography category at the 17th edition of the Grands Prix du Design.

His work, Île de Champlain, also earned the following honours:
• Platinum Award – Art and Photography (Residential Space)
• Platinum Award – Pool and Terrace
• International Platinum Award – Art and Photography

CHUM pool

Committed to investing in quality equipment to meet client demands, Construction S.R.B. SCC acquired an electric wall saw capable of handling a 54”-inch blade. This purchase allowed us to meet the requirements of electric equipment and perform the extraction of the pool at CHUM hospital while it remained operational.

407 ETR

Construction S.R.B. SCC works closely with 407 ETR, a public-private partnership highway in Ontario. Over the years, our company has completed more than 1 million m² of grinding and grooving on this highway to improve its quality for users.

New Brunswick Overpass

In spring 2013, Construction S.R.B. SCC partnered with Atlantic Underground Services Ltd., a major contractor in the Maritime provinces. For this project, our company deployed specialized equipment including three “S-220B” machines and a truck equipped with a “TA-6” to carry out specialized sawing work on an overpass. This large-scale contract presented a significant challenge: cuts had to be highly precise to avoid contact with asbestos pipes embedded within the overpass structure. We are proud to have completed this work on a tight schedule while meeting our client’s specific requirements.

Montreal metro

At Construction S.R.B. SCC, innovating to solve our clients’ challenges is a priority. For this specific project, our team developed equipment capable of removing imperfections on the concrete curbs used by the Montreal Metro. We are proud to have collaborated with the STM (Société de transport de Montréal) on this project.
