Sidewalks
At Construction S.R.B. SCC, we offer specialized sidewalk sawing solutions that allow for slope adjustments or the correction of settlements without the need for complete reconstruction.
Custom Sawing
Our equipment can cut sidewalks with widths ranging from 25 to 150 cm (10” to 59” inches), and lengths tailored to the client’s requirements. The slope can be adjusted across the entire width of the sidewalk or only on a targeted section, depending on project needs.
Correction of Settled Sidewalks:
- Cost-effective alternative to full reconstruction
- Reduced costs and timelines for municipalities
- Fast and efficient leveling to ensure pedestrian safety
Thanks to our expertise and specialized equipment, Construction S.R.B. SCC enables municipalities and contractors to renovate and secure sidewalks quickly, precisely, and affordably.
Marking
To facilitate communication between the client and Construction S.R.B. SCC, we have implemented a standardized marking system for all curbs and sidewalks to be sawed in Quebec.
The process is simple. The client must use spray paint to mark the start and end points of the driveway entrance (see photo below). The client must also indicate, with a diagonal mark on the side of the curb, which side the slope should be cut. By default, the slope length is 1.5 feet unless the client requests otherwise, in accordance with municipal regulations.
This procedure can be performed either by the resident or by the person responsible for sawing in your municipality. To ensure proper compliance, please contact your municipality’s procurement officer.
The maximum length of a driveway entrance is regulated by municipal bylaws. Any driveway cut must be authorized by your municipality.
Construction S.R.B. SCC guarantees work completion within 15 business days following receipt of municipal authorization or order.
