Renaud Bertrand-Thouin holds a diploma in Civil Engineering from Dawson College and a degree in Construction Engineering from ÉTS. A member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec since 2020, he officially joined the family business, Construction S.R.B. scc, in 2015, after having been involved with it since his teenage years. Now Vice-President of Operations, he specializes in concrete cutting, drilling, and grinding operations, with a strong focus on innovation and job site efficiency.

He also completed the Émergence program at the École d’Entrepreneurship de Beauce. Actively engaged in the industry, he has been a board member of the ACQ Montérégie since 2019, became its President in 2024, and has served on the provincial Young Entrepreneurs Committee.

Alongside his brother and sister, Alex and Valérie, Renaud represents the third generation preparing to take over the company founded by their grandfather in 1980.

Alex Bertrand-Thouin has been involved in the family business, Construction S.R.B., since his CEGEP studies, particularly in sales and administration. A Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) since 2013, he currently holds the position of Controller at a large-scale company, while continuing to play an active role in the strategic management of S.R.B. Known for his rigour and strong business acumen, Alex contributes to the financial strength and growth of the family business alongside Renaud and Valérie.

Bruno-Pierre Duval joined Construction S.R.B. in 2010 as an operator. With extensive hands-on experience and a deep understanding of operations, he gradually advanced within the company to become Project Manager and Estimator in 2022. Bruno-Pierre stands out for his analytical mindset, precision, and ability to efficiently lead projects from estimate to completion.

Marc Godin has been with Construction S.R.B. since 1986. He began his career as a concrete cutting operator, where he gained solid hands-on experience in the field. Over the years, his natural leadership and deep knowledge of job sites led him to take on the role of Superintendent in 1988. Marc is known for his professionalism, precision, and unwavering commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Valérie Bertrand-Thouin began working at Construction S.R.B. in the summer of 2014, supporting administrative operations. Driven by a strong interest in business, she pursued studies in law and taxation, and was called to the Quebec Bar in 2018. Now a tax specialist, she divides her time between her professional practice and her involvement in the family business, contributing to its strategic growth alongside her brothers, Alex and Renaud.

Mélanie Émond has been in charge of billing at Construction S.R.B. since 2008. She joined the team in July 2007, initially working in customer service, where she quickly demonstrated her rigour and efficiency. With her in-depth knowledge of operations and keen attention to detail, Mélanie ensures the accuracy and smooth execution of the billing process with professionalism and consistency.

Franchesca Gervais Langlois joined the Construction S.R.B. team in March 2019. Working in customer service, she manages curb cutting orders for municipalities and provides attentive follow-ups with clients over the phone. Versatile, efficient, and dedicated, Franchesca stands out for her ability to handle multiple tasks while consistently delivering courteous and professional service.

Lise Breault has been with Construction S.R.B. since July 1997. In charge of accounting and payroll, she plays a key role in the smooth administrative functioning of the company. Known for her rigour, loyalty, and extensive experience, Lise has been contributing to the stability and growth of Construction S.R.B. for over 25 years.

Caroline Bean has been part of the Construction S.R.B. team since 1987. Over the years, she has held various key roles in both customer service and administration. Her expertise also extends to reviewing estimates and several other operational aspects. Thanks to her versatility and deep knowledge of the company, Caroline is a valuable resource and a cornerstone of the team.

Wolfe Skorzik joined Construction S.R.B. in 2019 as Head of the Grinding Division in Ontario. In addition to overseeing operations, he plays a key role in business development, serving as the main representative and lead salesperson for the region. Active in various industry conferences and events, Wolfe stays up-to-date with new techniques and market needs to offer clients tailored and innovative solutions.

Manon Bertrand has been at the heart of Construction S.R.B. since its founding in 1980, when she supported her father, Mr. René Bertrand, in the company’s administration. Visionary, rigorous, and committed, she has always played a central role in the company’s administrative and strategic management. Over the years, Manon has also been actively involved in several construction industry organizations, including the ACQ, CCQ, and AECQ, helping to advance the sector’s interests.
In 1998, she acquired the company alongside her partner, Rhéal Thouin, passionately continuing the development of S.R.B. Today, she proudly passes the family business on to her three children, Alex, Renaud, and Valérie, ensuring the continuity of a vision built over three generations. In 2025, her outstanding commitment was recognized with the René-Lafontaine Award.

Rhéal Thouin began his career at Construction S.R.B. in 1983 as a welder specializing in machinery fabrication. He then worked as an operator on construction sites, gaining solid hands-on experience. Over the years, he gradually became involved in the company’s management, focusing particularly on the grinding division. In 1998, Rhéal acquired the company alongside his partner, Manon Bertrand, succeeding Mr. René Bertrand. Together, they brought a new vision to S.R.B. and helped establish it as a leader in the industry.
